The Manufacturing Millennial

Love it, love it, love it. Thanks so much for your help on this, Emily.
Jake Hall
Founder of The Manufacturing Millennial

As The Manufacturing Millennial, Jake Hall had established himself as one of the most recognizable voices in industry — bridging generations, challenging outdated narratives, and bringing energy to a space that desperately needs it. His following on LinkedIn had climbed fast. He had achieved his goal of building a brand that paid his bills and allowed his wife to stay home with their kids, booking podcasts, panels, conferences, and partnerships with the biggest names in manufacturing. People knew his name. They knew his hat. They knew his message.

Yet his website was a single page Wix DIY job, and you could tell. It was there, but it was not communicating Jake’s authority. It didn’t show him in action on stage. It didn’t capture the scale of the conversations he was part of or the caliber of organizations he was working with. For someone actively pursuing higher-level keynote opportunities, media partnerships, and long-term platform growth, Jake's website was nowhere near telling the right story.

It completely undersold him, and wasn’t helping him snag the major keynote speaking opportunities he was gunning for.

Jake was entering a different phase of his career — one where perception mattered as much as reach. Conference organizers, producers, and brand partners weren’t just looking for someone with a following. They wanted to know, quickly and confidently, that Jake could command a room, deliver value, and represent their event or organization at a high level.

His digital presence wasn’t doing that work for him.

Shaping the Story

The goal was to amplify all the things that made Jake credible, recognizable, and desirable. The Cubs hat. The “everyman” energy. The accessibility. We positioned Jake as a professional speaker and industry authority with a massive following. We led with his larger than life stage presence, his experience, and his role as a connector between generations in manufacturing.

We modeled Jake’s new brand and website after keynote speakers like Gary Vaynerchuk and others who had successfully built large, credible platforms without losing their edge. That gave us a clear vision for what the next level looked like in terms of structure, clarity, and confidence.

From there, we built a digital hub that made it immediately obvious who Jake is, what he does, and why booking him is a smart decision.

Sharpening the Experience

We designed and built a new website centered around Jake in his element — on stage, in front of real audiences, and in real conversations on trade show floors. Speaking engagements moved to the forefront, supported by testimonials, event imagery, and clear pathways for booking. Podcast appearances and partnerships became part of the credibility stack too.

Visually, the brand retained its core identity with Cubs blue and red as the anchors, but we added jolts of energy with intentional hits of yellow. Video reels and animations created excitement and momentum without overwhelming the user, reflecting Jake’s dynamism while keeping the interface intuitive and clean.

Functionality mattered just as much as aesthetics. We created an events page that could easily be updated by Jake or his VA so the site could evolve in real time alongside his schedule. We kept the structure simple so visitors wouldn’t have to hunt for information. Everything pointed toward one outcome: understanding the value of working with The Manufacturing Millennial and taking the next step.

Shining into a Bright Future

The finished site aligned Jake’s digital presence with the reality of where his career already was, and where it’s headed. And it’s already getting great results.

I am getting probably 3-5 qualified leads a week through the website.

Instead of a self-built placeholder, Jake now has a professional platform that supports higher-caliber opportunities, reinforces his authority, and reflects the scale of his impact in the manufacturing space. The website works as a filter, a credibility tool, and a booking engine, doing the heavy lifting so Jake can stay focused on the work that matters most to him.
